Based in Pindaya, Myanmar, we provide an ethical platform for the international sale of Shan teas. Aiming to share it's appreciation and garner well deserved attention for Myanmar's teas in the most sustainable way possible
Our logo character was created to represent the warm and welcoming spirit of people in Myanmar.
Our products are also stocked in various locations in Myanmar.
FARMERS
We would be nowhere without the hundreds of smallholder farmers with whom we work with. Situated in the hills around Pindaya, each farmer owns and tends to their 3-5 acre organic farm handpicking each leaf to ensure only the best end up in your salad or teapot
PINDAYA
At the heart of The Lost Tea Company is the picturesque town of Pindaya. Situated in Southern Shan, the rolling hills around the town is where all of our high quality organic tea leaves are handpicked
LAHPET
Lahpet is the Burmese word for edible fermented tea, a national delicacy of Myanmar. Traditionally eaten on it’s own as a snack, or as the essential ingredient of the iconic Lahpet Thoke, tea leaf salad.

We are serious about sustainability and do everything in our power to minimise our impact on the environment whilst promoting fair pay and environmentally friendly farming practices
TEA
Tea has been cultivated in Myanmar for centuries, and is intrinsic to Burmese life. Bustling tea shops are found around every corner, and a free pot of tea is sat on your table at most restaurants.

1. United Kingdom Next Day Delivery - Courier Shipping by DPD - FREE over £70
We provide DPD Next Day Delivery Service, as well as DPD's Saturday and Sunday Delivery services across the UK. You can track your order from the Orders tab of your Account Page, after having competed an order and creating and logging into your account.
2. London-Only Same-Day and 48h Delivery Options
As we are based in Central London, we offer our 100% electric, refrigerated van delivery service. At your Checkout Page, after entering your delivery post code you will see the option of London delivery, or DPD Delivery. Select the option you feel most suitable.
